Artist of the Month

This page will be spotlighting some of miniatures' most gifted artisans. Some of what you will see here is part of my own collection and not for sale. Those artisan-made items that are for sale will have a price under it when you click on the thumbnail image. This month the featured artisans are the  husband and wife team Pat and Noel Thomas of Washington State.

Noel & Pat Thomas Miniatures

Noel and Pat Thomas are both Fellows in the International Guild of Miniature Artisans and members of the National Association of Miniature Enthusiasts' Academy of Honor. Their work has been featured in major publications such as Architectural Digest, National Preservation, Elle, and Americana Magazine. Known for their aged miniature houses, for the past 25 years the Thomases have presented lectures, slide programs, and workshops for shops and organizations across the country. Though they no longer build commissioned dollhouses, they continue to teach at 2 - 3 miniature shops each year, and are seasoned teachers at the annual Guild School in Castine, Maine. Pat's Creative Notebook articles about their techniques appeared for 15 years in Nutshell News, and can now be seen in Miniature Collector.
